LLooking for fun outdoor activities to keep moving this summer? Here are some of the classes and events around town that you can try.

Play volleyball at Villa Z in Valade Park

Come Play Detroit, a Detroit-based intramural sports league operator, hosts co-ed volleyball leagues at Z’s Villa every Monday and Thursday. Games take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Come Play Detroit also hosts a wide variety of other sports, including basketball, kickball, softball, and more. Rise and Grind at Beacon Park

Many outdoor fitness classes are offered this summer as part of the Downtown Detroit Partnership’s Rise and Grind program, including cardio boxing, hip-hop aerobics, zumba and HIIT. Learn to hustle at Beacon Park

Coaches from local dance studio N’Namdi Movement Center train Hustle and Flow events at Beacon Park from 3:30-5:00 p.m. every Saturday.
