Guests staying at any Disneyland Resort hotel can enjoy new fitness activities offered by Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Some of these activities take place at Disney California Adventure the morning before it opens to guests. Learn more below.

Take a yoga class with a panoramic view of Disney California Adventure, or relax during guided meditation, focus on stretching, prepare for a boot camp in the park, test yourself on a fitness challenge. obstacles at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, or find yourself on a paddleboard in the fountain pool at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa!

Here are some highlights of more than a dozen fitness classes, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, offered by the Tenaya Stone Spa and the fitness center at Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa, which are tailored to a variety of skill levels:

Aqua yoga: Practice yoga on a paddle board while floating in the fountain pool. We recommend that you are comfortable in the water, as chances are you will get wet!

Awakening yoga: Wake up with Disney by enjoying a yoga session overlooking Disney California Adventure from the hotel’s rooftop terrace. Designed for all levels, this class incorporates different types of yoga to improve mental awareness and start the day full of energy!

Disney California Adventure Park Boot Camp: This lively, high-intensity boot camp will take you from dirt to dirt before the park opens, with push-ups, squats, and sit-ups, and maintain a jogging pace of 12 minutes per mile around the park. This lesson takes place before the opening of the park.

Disney Yoga Ears: Put on your favorite pair of Disney ears and add some Disney magic to that morning yoga session!

Fascia release: This class includes a fascia roller to help relieve muscle tension and soreness, which can be soothing before your next day at the parks!

Obstacle Challenge at Disney California Adventure Park: At the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail attraction, overcome thrilling obstacles like crawling, jumping, climbing and running, and test your balance and strength! This lesson takes place before the opening of the park.

Power Walking Workout at Disney California Adventure Park: Start your day with an energetic ride and active stretching throughout Disney California Adventure before the park opens. This class maintains a pace of 15-18 minutes per mile, up to 2 miles.

Sound meditation: This guided meditation is designed to calm your mind and bring you into a deep state of self-reflection.

Start with a stretch: Get ready for an exciting day visiting the parks! Our instructors will guide you through gentle stretches to help warm up your muscles. This lesson takes place before the opening of the park.

Group fitness classes are available for overnight Disneyland Resort Hotel guests for an additional fee. Class reservations are required and can be made online, by phone or by visiting the spa directly.

As a Disneyland Resort Hotel guest, you can also work out at one of the hotel’s three complimentary fitness centers, also located at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Weight machines like advanced ellipticals, regular and recumbent bikes, treadmills, and stair climbers are great for a cardio workout, and if you want to pump iron, weight machines and free weights are also available. .

Disneyland Resort hotel guests must be 14 years of age or older to use the hotel fitness centers. Guests aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Fitness classes are for adults 18 years and older. Hotel guests between the ages of 14 and 17 may participate in a fitness class if the parent/guardian of the minor consents in writing and accompanies the minor during the class. Classes that take place in the park do not include general admission to the park and participants must leave the park at the end of the class.
